Back in January 2024, we begin a trial on one of our work vans to test out the wind powered ventilation.
We chose to do this because our staff requested an improvement to their air quality when transporting used COSHH from site back to headquarters for appropriate disposal. After research by our SHEQ officer, we selected the Flettner 2000 wind-powered ventilator in white to match our vans.
We said: If all goes well, we will roll it out on the rest of our fleet.
On March 15th, we installed 4 more ventilators on 4 more vans. Due to site requirements, we were unable to schedule installation on all of our vans, but will arrange for the remaining 2 vans to get the work done on them soon.
